NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced a combined recruitment drive for 261 vacancies across Engineer, Executive, Assistant Engineer, and Deputy General Manager level positions under two separate advertisements (Advt 04/26 and Advt 02/26). Eligibility / Qualification
Advt 04/26 — Posts 1 to 8:
- Post 1 (Engineer RE-Civil): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.-Engg. (Civil) with minimum 65% marks and 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 2 (Engineer RE-Electrical): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.-Engg. in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering with minimum 65% marks and 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 3 (Engineer RE-Mechanical): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.-Engg. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering/Production & Industrial Engineering/Power Engineering with minimum 65% marks and 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 4 (Executive RE-HR): Graduate with minimum 65% marks plus PG Degree/PG Diploma in Management (HR/IR/Personnel Management specialization) or MHROD/MBA(HR), with 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 5 (Executive RE-Finance): CA/CMA with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Post 6 (Engineer RE-Safety): Engineering degree in Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Civil/Power Engineering with minimum 65% marks and 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 7 (Executive RE-CSR): Full-time PG Degree/PG Diploma/MSW/MBA or Engineering degree in Rural Management/Rural Development/Displacement/Rehabilitation/Community Development/Local Administration/Local Development/Livelihood/Social Entrepreneurship/Social Development/Social Administration/Sustainable Development/Development Policy & Practice/Development Studies with minimum 65% marks and 3 years of relevant experience. Relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Post 8 (Executive RE-Rajbhasha): PG Degree in Hindi with English and 3 years of relevant experience.
Advt 02/26 — Posts 1 & 2:
- Post 1 (Assistant Engineer RE): Engineering Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Post 2 (Deputy General Manager-RE): Engineering Degree with minimum 60% marks (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) — Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD — with 12 years of relevant experience.
Age Limit & Application Fee
Age Limit:
For Advt 04/26, the upper age limit is 35 years as on 07 September 2026, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
For Advt 02/26, Post 1 (Assistant Engineer) has an upper age limit of 40 years as on 31 July 2026, and Post 2 (Deputy General Manager) has an upper age limit of 44 years as on 31 July 2026. In both cases, SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation and OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500/-. No fee is applicable for SC/ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen (ExSM), and Women candidates.
