Maharashtra Police Bharti 2026 is one of the largest government recruitment drives in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Police department recruits candidates for posts including Police Constable (PC), Head Constable (HC), Sub-Inspector (SI), and Police Patil through regular annual recruitment drives.

The selection process for Police Bharti involves multiple stages: a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) including a running event (1600 meters for male, 800 meters for female candidates), a written examination, and document verification. Candidates must also pass a medical examination before final selection.

For constable posts, candidates who have passed 12th standard (HSC) from a recognized board in Maharashtra are eligible. For Sub-Inspector posts, candidates must hold a graduation degree. Marathi language proficiency is mandatory for all Maharashtra Police recruitment posts.
