MPSC Recruitment 2026 — Maharashtra Public Service Commission Guide

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is the premier state-level recruitment authority that conducts examinations for prestigious government posts in Maharashtra. MPSC conducts multiple examinations annually including Rajyaseva (Class A and B), Group B Non-Gazetted, Group C, Agriculture Services, Engineering Services, and Forest Services.

The MPSC Rajyaseva exam is considered the most prestigious examination in Maharashtra, recruiting candidates for posts like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Tehsildar, CEO Block, and SDO. The exam has three stages: Preliminary (objective), Mains (descriptive + objective), and Personality Test (Interview).

MPSC exams are conducted through the MahaPariksha portal (mahapariksha.gov.in). Candidates need to register once and can apply for multiple exams using the same registration. The MPSC syllabus covers Indian and Maharashtra history, polity, geography, economy, science and technology, environment, and current affairs.
